Guess what Santa brought? Patch- I'm back!

Well everyone - things didn't work out with my new family so I'm back. Obviously they needed someone to hold down this bed in front of the pellet stove too! So I got back last night and am getting back into the routine and I've offered a couple of my smiles in the meantime! Hopefully mom will be able to catch a picture of my smile sometime.
In the meantime, I have to catch some more Zzzz's so call Denise if you want to see me! The good news is that my foster mom will be home til after the New Year so if you want to come and visit, just call!

Patch has been adopted!

Well I will need to bid you farewell. I have been adopted by another greyhound named Tucker. He brought these two nice people with him. Boy what a nice family. When the people were talking I just waited by the door to go. I think I have ESP! I knew they were taking me because they seemed like a smart group of people (even though they were people!).

So I have vacated my spot for the next foster grey. Whoever you are, you'll like this family!

Merry Christmas from Santa Patch!

Well everyone I'm still here. I haven't had time to write since I've been taking over the couch, flinging stuffies around and wagging my tail. My mom says that I am the president of the 'Tail Wagger's Club', bet you didn't know that did you?!

Here's a little more about me. I am a big boy. If you check back to the July blog, you'll see that I have HUGE feet!! I love my people, I stay home all day and roam the house with my foster brothers and then at night they turn the heat down and it gets chilly. So, you know what I do then? I go upstairs and get into bed with my foster mom and if the other two dogs are there too, we all snuggle up together with mom. The only thing is that I don't really think mom likes all that cuddling. She hollers alot when we get in there. Maybe it's cause we lay on her and crowd her out of the bed. Or maybe she's just a party pooper.

So the typical things about greyhounds just aren't true with me. I don't gulp my food, I don't bother the cat (not to mention that since I've arrived he won't step foot out of the basement!!), and I think the birds are ok too. As for counter cruising, I ruined my reputation today by stealing the butter dish, butter and all. Once they took that from me, I went back to get the next stick of butter, wrapper and all. Well you know what happened then? They took it away!! AAAAAAAgh!!

Ok so I'm getting typing cramp. I need to go sip some more egg nog by the fire next to the tree so if you want the best Christmas present ever, Call Denise and tell them you want Patch! I will make a great stocking stuffer! (just get a REALLY big stocking)

ok everyone, I'm back!!! Wanna play?

Ok so stuffies are wonderful!!! Did you know that?

Anyway, I digress...I am back. My family fell on some hard financial times and I went back to Greyhound Rescue. Not a bad deal though so far, I'm back in my foster home and boy am I having a blast!! My mom says I'm a whiner though so I guess I'd better watch myself. I do like to be around people that's for sure!

Anyway, I'm housetrained and am ok to roam the house. I am a big boy with really big feet!!! (Actually I think God got a little confused in my making and gave me Great Dane feet!) I can take steps like a champ and LOVE to run, but....if you don't have a minute to run with me I can throw some toys in the house and I'm ok with that! Boy do they fly high!

So if you want an easy dog who likes other dogs and was great with my family's kids, call Denise and tell her you need PATCH!

Skinny is gone...

Very sad news. Skinny had some medical complications and died this morning at the vets. We will miss him so much, but know that he is in hound heavan with all his stuffies! We will miss him sooo much.
If anyone would like to donate to help with the medical costs from Skinny's care, please log onto the website and make a paypal donation or mail your donation. Skinny would thank you with kisses! http://www.greyrescue.com/

Skinny is here and boy is he spoiled!

Ok so I am here world! My name is Skinny but none of my foster family likes that name. We were thinking of calling me Skittles, because they are colorful and yummy and that better describes me!
Well as you can see I have settled right in. My foster sister, aka the lump in the bed next to me, is great. She is my best buddy (well ok so I am only using her for her bed!). She lets me sleep in her bed and you know what? I sleep ALL night with no accidents. In fact it's hard to get me up!
I just got here on Sunday but so far I have been a good boy. I can tackle the back steps, jump up onto the bed, and go in my crate in during the day with no problems. I will add more later but if you want to come visit me, AND you have a nice bed for me, please call Denise.

Nectar is Home at last

Well I have gone. This is a good thing people!!! My new family came and brought my new brother and wow is he sweet. He was a little scared when he first got here, but I showed him around the place and he was feeling a little better. And guess what?! I am going to be a city dweller!!! I am moving in with the President! Ok that's a lie but I am moving to Washington DC so maybe we'll be neighbors and maybe I can be friends with their dog (I heard that dog is pretty hairy though and I bet it can't run fast like me). So my public tale ends here.....at my forever home!!

Monday, November 1, 2010

Hi everyone,

We had a great weekend. How about you? Well first my foster brother mowed the lawn. Wow was it fun following him around. Mom says it's a little unusual for a dog to like following a gas powered push lawnmower. But I read back on this blog site and guess what? Another foster dog liked the lawnmower too. I think it's a sign of intelligence, don't you?

Well, I've been here a week and think I have the people about trained so if you want to adopt them, call me....oops ! I mean I'm ready for adoption. So sorry about that. I get a little carried away!

Anyway, I have gotten quite friendly with the stuffies in this place as you can see from the picture. WHO got a pink one I don't know. Not a very manly color though. But boy does it toss nicely in the air. So do shoes, and tennis balls! I really got these people wondering the day the stuffie landed in the pot on the pellet stove! Wow what a good shot. I think I'll try basketball next.
So some behavior updates, I'm still wonderful! Oh and although I haven't tried the full set of steps yet, I am a pro at the set of 4 outside AND I actually like the cat! He looks so nice even though he still won't let me sniff him! Party pooper! I also had my first accident in the house today. Boy I won't let that happen again! Was mom ever mad, boy she hollered! Wasn't my fault though. She didn't let me stay out long enough this morning. Next time I won't let her sit on the toilet long enough and see how she likes that! Hmmmph!
Ok enough for now. Gotta hold down this nice dog bed....I hear the pellet stove warming up! Gotta get my spot in front of it.

Just part of the crew

Ok so I've almost been here a week. Mom says I'm a good boy and boy do I let her know I'm happy about that!!! My tail wags so well. The spring must be new cause it's always going! Anyway, I put up with quite a bit here. They put sunglasses on me last night! Wow...it was dark! But they were cool...they're in the shape of stars and I AM a STAR!

Ok so my foster sister has a habit of laying on me to hug me too. I guess that's ok. As you can see that's fine with me! I love the attention. She gives me kisses too. So like I said my foster mom says that I'm a good boy, and I have really tried. The piece of French toast this morning was too much to resist though. And boy was it good!!! The cat has been scared to come up from the basement but I just stare at him as he sits on the top step. I really just want to sniff him.
So that's it for now. Mom says that I'm just like her other two boys and like a regular dog here. But truth be told....I'm special!!! and much better than a regular dog!! If you want, come see me!!! Call Denise and come visit...only if you give me a hug and a kiss!!

Day 3....I am SOOO good

Ok public, here is my info....
I am just a 'wonder dog'! I have been so good I have ignored the birds in their cage and BOY are they loud! I think they're upset 'cause I'm here. Tough luck for them huh?! I have tried sooo hard to get someone to give me part of their dinner or breakfast but have been pushed away! Rejection! Uh! So anyway, I am now walking pretty good on a leash. My other foster sister has taken me on a walk and said that I stuck my head against her leg like a magnet. I guess it made it hard for her to walk?! Silly girl, I just really like people and want to stick to them! I did work my way into my foster sister's (the human that was on the first picture) bedroom and slept all through the night with no accidents or cries! I was a good boy from about 10 PM to 5:30 AM...what a champ! During the day, I'm in the crate with no hassles for about 7 hours. Track dog? I think not!!

Ok so my down falls....I think that the recycling bag is really fun to go through! A frozen pizza box makes a great toy! So does a slipper....wow have you ever thrown one of those things in the air!!! ok enough for now...time for the crate....

Sunday, October 24, 2010

"Is This All"? AKA Nectar is here! And boy am I sweet!!

Well I'm here and like my nickname implies, I am soooo sweet! See me? I've already charmed my foster sister and I've only been here about an hour! Since I arrived I've checked out the birds in the cage and done a 'sniff over' of the downstairs. Oh and I figured out the back steps too. The plan is to charm my way into my foster sister's (the one in the picture) room tonight and see if she'll let me cuddle with her in her bed. I'll keep you posted.

Ok, gotta go. The human children are acting stupid in the other room and I need to check it out. Ta ta for now!

Sissy has a Forever Home

Well it looks like Sissy found her forever home. A nice lady and her grey named Doc came and took her to her forever home. Sissy heard some stories from her new mom about a bird that she has at the house. She told me that she is quite excited to meet the bird. Doc told her not to get so excited that the bird was bossy! Oh well, Sissly is such a good girl she will go with the flow I'm sure.
See you at the picnic Sissy!!!

More pictures of Sissy

Just some pics! Long story but had to have a bath....and just some pics of me hanging out with my peeps

Home Sweet (foster) home with Sissy

Ok has your heart melted yet? Well it should! Here I am on my foster sister's bed. She and I are best buddies. When I get scared, her room is where I go. And in this shot I'm sleeping on her bed for the night. Yes, I have been spoiled and am sleeping on her bed! So sorry.

Ok so here goes...I think that I am just the perfect dog. I walk nicely on a leash, haven't had one accident yet...not even in my crate during the day! Wow! hard to believe that I just got off the track.

My family can't seem to find anything wrong with me...but looking at this picture, can you?

Call Denise if or email my foster mom @ kidproof@qis.net if you want to come visit.

Sissy is here!

So here I am. My name is Sissy, but don't get me wrong, I'm no Sissy!!! So I came here to the Strong home yesterday afternoon with my mom. My mom went to another foster home (it's because she tried to eat the cat I think) and here I am. Thank goodness there are two girls here because all the hounds here are boys! Yuck....girls rule, boys drool!

Anyway, so here's my info:

I walk pretty good on a leash

I can be coaxed up and down the steps

I LOVE hanging out with people....people are great. They kiss and hug me!

I am learning my manners and trying to wait patiently for my meals

I've sniffed at the counters but not 'cruised' them yet

I love to run in the yard

I haven't had an accident yet! Ladies don't pee in the house everyone- that's just rude!

I will keep you posted on my status later...I'm going to be in a crate tomorrow so I will let you know how I do.

PS...see me in the picture? I'm holding a chippy. Chippies are good. So good I can't stop to chew them or someone might take them! Or at least that's what I think.

Boo Hoo! Patch is adopted!

Well, easy come easy go. These really nice people came to get me tonight. And you know the best part? They had two little girls. Wow! I just loved the way they held onto me and hugged me and crawled on me. They kissed me too! They handed me squeaky toys while I was lounging too. So anyway, it's been a nice short stay at the Strong's but I'm going to a great place now! My forever home :)

My Name is Patch but my foster family calls me 'Big Foot'

Well here I am. My name is Patch and I am a big boy!

To go along with my big feet is my big heart. I am a Love Bug so be ready for some tail wagging and some play. I am quite a good boy and would love some kids to play with but heck I'll take any people. People are great.

So I arrived on Thursday and since that time I have run around the back yard and taught these people how to play with squeaky toys! Wow do I love them. I'm a good boy and have only had one accident and that I did by the back door. I can't help it if I can't reach the door handle! I've tried the steps up and down but boy do they scare me....so does getting into the car. But once I'm there, I'm good to go....roll down the windows and let's roll baby!

So I'm a little bit of a restless sleeper. I needed to make sure my foster mother was in bed so although I slept in her room on the floor at the end of the bed, I had to check on her about every two hours. I'm not sure why but she didn't seem happy about it. But she petted me, kissed me and I went back to sleep.

So anyway, please come visit me if you'd like a wonderful boy with big feet, a big heart, and a lot of play.

Ica has a home!

Well this is my farewell note to my public. I have found a home! My new peeps came to get me today and guess what? They have a greayhoud too so I may not have to train them quite so much. She's 11 1/2 years old! Can you imagine? Anyway, these people have two kids, one girl and one boy and a big truck that they took me home in. I love car rides so this should be fun. Anyway, wish me luck!

I'm getting a complex

Ok so even Ocean Breeze (Quatro) got adopted. So what does that say about me? Well I have a lot to say and alot to be proud of. Last night I had to go pee, so you know what I did? I woke my foster mom up by whining. She told me I was a good boy and to add to that I was dry in my crate ALL DAY that means 8 hours for the second day in a row. I got a snack for that accomplishment! So you see I am proving my foster mom wrong.

Ok so I also like the high school. I went there last night in the car. The car is SOO cool. I like to sit with my face right next to the driver if possible. I guess truth be told I'd probably climb in the driver's lap if I could. Mom pushes me back. But I LOVE THE CAR (once someone gets me in!!). Pssst...I also have a secret. ... I love to throw stuffies and tennis balls in the air all alone. Once my peeps see me I stop. It's so embarrassing!

So here are my goals:
#1 - I will strive to walk better on a leash
#2 - I will strive to not madly chase after any small animal such as rabbits, squirrels, etc.
#3 - I will strive to not act like a nut and try to eat the cat - I know he's in the house but I can't get to him
#4 - I will strive to learn to wag my tail instead of just stalking people

Ok so enough for now. Gotta go lay in the sun.....yards are great!

So if you would like an interview with me please call Denise Davis at Greyhound Rescue Inc.

Newsflash - I wagged my tail!!!

Ok so today for the first time I wagged my tail at my foster sister. Ok she's a cute little girl and not a cute little dog, but I wagged it anyway! So here are some updates on my 'profile' ( I feel like I'm on Facebook!):

  • I do stairs like a champ! up and down

  • I am learning to walk well on a leash

  • I sleep on my foster mom's bedroom floor on a bed- all through the night with no accidents!

  • I stay in a crate during the day and for the first time today I didn't pee in it!!!

  • I have NEVER pooped in the house!

  • I am undergoing therapy for my cat issues

So it's quite an impressive list huh? I should also tell you that I've been called a stalker. I follow my peeps around. They pet me and kiss me. Maybe I'll wag my tail tomorrow too! Give them a real treat! As for the cat therapy, I don't know that I'll ever truly be safe around cats but my foster mom took me to the stable (boy those are BIG dogs!) and I saw two cats. I really wanted to eat them but I was on a leash! Oh well, as for the cat in my foster home, he lives in the basement. Probably good for him. I might not be able to contain myself and I might take a bite!!!!

Ok TTFN...I'll keep you up to date on the wagging!

Monday, May 3, 2010

See my charm is already working!

Ok so I told you so!!! My charm is already working. I slept in my foster mother's room last night on the floor without an issue. I even think this petting and hugging thing are ok too. In fact right now as my foster mother types my dictation, I am standing behind her hoping that she'll pet me. I'm reserving the tail wagging until later in the week. That is unless you come and visit me and take me to my real home!!!

PS- I'll pose for more pictures later. I'm just too busy for the public pictures now!

Sunday, May 2, 2010

Ica is here!

Ok so I'm here and I came in with a bang! My name is Ica and I am a beautiful black hound. I am so handsome but am I a handful!!! My foster mom said I have been the worst she's had so far! Well I'm out to prove her wrong.

Ok let me tell you how I came into the house. First of all I came to my foster home with my brother Willie. His foster mom came and picked him up. Then I promptly entered the house and jumped up and attacked the birdcage. Boy did I get into trouble. Since then I've left the birds alone. In fact when I pass the cage, I bow my head in shame. How's that for remorse?! Ok so I can go up the steps like lightning, going down...not so much. They are really scarey when they go down! I am a really shy boy and am trying to get used to the rules and the hugs and kisses. I like my foster mom and when I get the chance, I follow her. That's cause she feeds me! So another thing I'm working on is housebreaking...why anyone would want to break a hosue, I don't know. but i think it has to do with the big yellow puddle I left in the kitchen on the floor. And yes I got into trouble for that too. Did I mention the chicken on the counter?! Ok that's for another time. For now as you see I have worn myself out and need some sleep. TTFN.

A little quiet here

Well I have to tell you, public...it was quiet around here. Dillon left on Sunday...the Easter bunny brought him a nice couple and they took him home! Wow I don't know how the Easter bunny fit those people in the basket but he's a pretty tricky rabbit anyway.

As for me, I have been hogging all the attention the last couple of days. Wow it's been great. Anyway, tonight I went with my friend that came to visit me before I was adopted last time. I was so happy to see him. I figured he'd come back for me. We were meant to be a great team. He's great. I wagged my tail and greeted him. Then he took out the leash. Someone trained him well. I thought he'd forgotten about me. Guess what? I'm going to live at the State Capital....ok well not at the actual building but in Annapolis. I'll keep you posted on the politics I try to rearrange!!! Who needs Democrats and Republicans? Vote for Greyhounds!!!

Sunday, April 4, 2010

Ok Guess what happened? Hooper's Back and Dillon's gone!

(I think mom has had enough....kids, dogs! What next?!)

No one would ever believe this, but we greyhounds really ganged up on our foster mom. Let me explain...

Ok so Hooper's family didn't work out so Hooper is back with us now. He got here yesterday. I am quite happy and believe it or not....no longer need my magic carpet. In fact I came right up the steps and walked down the hardwood floor with the open stair railing (wow was that scarey!!!! I am SOO brave) to my foster mom's bed and you see what happened! Poor mom....she had to find another place to sleep. She knows who's the boss.

So now that you know my accomplishments I have to tell you some things....I ate a stick of butter off of the counter...wow was that good....wow did that give me gas...and wow did I get into trouble. Ok so that was yesterday...the day before, I finished off my human foster brother's chocolate chip cookie bar birthday cake. Oh come on...I left him a tiny square with a a little slobber to boot! I'm not that selfish. Buuuuuttt....the good thing is that I am housebroken or at least I haven't had an accident. I just need a muzzle to help me to control my counter surfing.

Ok enough bragging. A nice man came to visit me last week and decided to adopt me but he really wanted Hooper (he had seen Hooper first)....so....guess what ??! Hooper has ANOTHER HOME now! Never fear...this nice couple came today and swept me off my feet and took me away to a great home. By the way, they have a really cool SUV! I will definitely put my head on their shoulder as they drive. I like to be with people and these people are just perfect. I just hope they have lots of kisses for me (and a nice sofa and a nice bed). They've been trained by greyhounds so I think they know what they're doing. TTYL -that's teenager for talk to you later!

Hooper is supposed to go to his home this week.

Good Luck Hooper - fun to play with you!

My Magic Carpet

Ok so I'm a little weird. I have some difficulty...but I'm getting therapy for it....I don't particularly like bare floors. So the first day I was here my foster mom and family had to make a path with towels across the kitchen floor so i would walk through it. All right no smart comments. I just like to think of myself as a Jeannie. I can fly ... or so I think.

Ok so so far the cat and I are getting along. I think he thinks I'm the last dog that was here. Ha! got him fooled! I also like car rides too and I'm learning how to go on walks on a leash. Oh and I slept the first night with my foster sister. She's so nice! I haven't figured out the steps yet but I'm sure I'll get there. Oh and did I mention that I LOVE kisses?!! Ok enough for now. I have to go hold down the dog bed. Bye....

Saturday, March 27, 2010

Dillon is here!

Ok where are the rugs? These bare floors are too much for me! Anyway, I am Dillon and I arrived at my foster home today. I have made friends with all the people here and the dogs too! I charm the people with wagging my tail, and I LOVE hugs and kisses as you can tell from my pictures. So far today I have conquered the back steps to get in and outside and was a great rider in the car (although I certainly think I can drive better...and tried to get into the front seat) Anyway, I'll let you know how I am doing tomorrow once I have explored more of this house. If you have some kisses for me and a good home, let Denise know.
PS I'm the handsome one in the picture that is NOT wearing a gray sweatshirt!

Saturday, March 20, 2010

Hooper Found a Home!

Ok fans...I now have a home. These two great guys came to visit me. They took me on a walk across the street too. I kept hearing my foster mom's voice though. I really love her but I did over hear her talking to them about me needing to take over their bed. They must have agreed because they are now driving home with me. I wonder if it's a king size? You think it's a water bed? A Tempra Pedic? You know I need the best bed around....I'm accsutomed to a Sleep Number myself...I'm a #40. Ok well I digress. Enough for now. Off to my new home!

Saturday, March 13, 2010

Quite at home

As you see me and my foster brother have become good friends. He's an older guy not like the other one who is brindle. Anyway, I have made friends with everyone in the house, even the cat. Yes the cat has finally accepted me. He still walks by and hisses but maybe it's not me? Maybe he's looking at someone behind me. Good grief I'm a great guy. I even let my foster mom brush my teeth in the morning. Ok well gotta go hold down the dogbed or the couch. No fun outside in this messy weather-cause then I have to have my feet dried off. No time for that nonsense! G2G...TTYL

Sunday, March 7, 2010

I have conquered the steps...the bed ...and my foster mom!

ok so I went up the steps the other night and now I am truly a pro. I can go up and down smoothly and safely! As for the others in the house, the cat is finally surfacing so maybe I'll get to sniff him after all!

So as you see from the picture, I have also conquered the bed. Me and my foster brothers just took over. We made quite a mess of the bed don't you agree?! She wasn't thrilled but you know as they say, there is power in numbers !!

So after I conquered the steps and mom's bed the other night I had a busy day yesterday. I had these nice people come and visit me but they decided on another greyhound up here in Carroll County. That's ok...I still have to train these humans anyway! But if YOU'RE interested in me, I'd love to meet you. Just contact Denise and she can make arrangements with me to get together. Ok enough of this....back to bed!

Friday, March 5, 2010

Ok Now I'm a true Greyhound

I FOUND THE COUCH!

I am now a true greyhound. I figured out how to get up on the couch. See? Don't I look handsome. I think this position suits me, don't you? Anyway, I'm a little disturbed. My foster brothers keep disappearing...they go up...these things that go up into a big hole. Mom says they're steps. Now I can do the short sets of 3-4, but WOW those steps upstairs, I'm not up for yet. I'm sure though just like the couch, I'll get it.

Well tonight will be the test. My human foster sister is gone for the night so my bed will be elsewhere. My gosh, what will I do? I will certainly let you know.

Ok so here's an update on my skills. I like the cat...though he doesn't seem to like me much! I love the ride in the car. It's so much fun to look out the window. I can sit like a nice gentleman and then I lay down for most of the ride and chill out.

Ok eating....this is a problem. My foster mom calls me a pig. I do have sort of a curly tail. Do you think that's it? I doubt it could be the fact that I lunge into my food and end up by knocking the dish off the bench. What do you think?

Beyond that I am wonderfully mannered. I no longer try to get out the door and on the bus with the kids. It's kinda nice just to watch them go out. They ALWAYS come back, and then they play with me and KISS ME! wow life is good. Ok....back to my nap on the couch. I'm getting carpal tunnel paw from writing.

Monday, March 1, 2010

Ok - who is who?

Ok so one might think that I'd been in a home for quite a while but no, it has only been a little over 24 hours since I arrived.

So here's the update...

last night I slept in my foster sister's room...she's not a dog by the way..she's actually kinda cute for a human. If you want, you can check her out on the greyhound rescue site's latest newsletter. Anyway, I digress...last night I slept on this really pretty blue and white puffy comforter on the floor. I slept like a baby ALL night. Then today I went into the dog crate and stayed there for the day....no accidents.

So here are my wonderful traits....

I can walk on a leash like a gentleman, I haven't done any counter cruising, and I only peed on the bag of recycling once. Boy did I get yelled at for that. I also got yelled at for putting my paws up on the bird cage table. Come on guys, they squeek. Speaking of squeekies, I like the squeekie toys and rawhides and tennis balls. Did I mention tennis balls???!!!

So did you figure out which one is me? The other one is Jack...my foster brother.

Ok....enough waiting I'm on the more handsome and intelligent looking one on the right.

Sunday, February 28, 2010

Hooper is here...

Hi- My name is Hooper and I arrived just today. Funny thing is that I look SOOO much like my foster brother Jack. We even both have red collars! Ha! Won't we have fun with that!? Anyway, I haven't had too much time to train these people yet. I have had time to go for a walk with the kids and learn how WONDERFUL lots of hugs and kisses all over my face are. Oh, and chippies---you know those rawhide pieces? They are great. Especially when you're on a fluffy dog bed next to the pellet stove. Huh, what's not to like?! I also have a real thing for tennis balls......

so....if you can give me lots of hugs and kisses, have a tennis ball available and a couple side chippies...call Denise and we can work something out!

Cannon has blasted off!

Well as fast I got here, I'm gone. I found this really nice lady who came to visit with her older dog today. She was a really old dog but I liked her just fine and she liked me too. The lady was really nice too and I charmed my way into her heart and her VW beetle! I have this way of putting my head on your lap and just sticking around....anyway, I got her! So she took all my stuff and me and whisked us away to Southern Maryland. I think I'll be really happy with her. She's a high school math teacher and my foster mother says that if she can teach high schoolers, she can do anything with a greyhound! Adios!

BOOM!!! Cannon is here...

Ok so I might not look as impressive and powerful as a big cannon but I have arrived yesterday. Rumor has it that I might not be here too long since my foster dad from my other foster home, said that someone was interested in me! I was in a home for about 4 years and they could no longer keep me so I was in a foster home for about two weeks. Then they had to go on a trip. So I'm at a babysitter....how demeaning! I am not a baby!
What I am is SOOOO SWEET! I like to hang out with people but am not pushy. I am perfectly content to find a spot near you and lay down. Other times if I want your attention I gently rest my head on your leg, arm, or chair arm. I will stand there that way for a long time! Anyway this new house has a cat---I'm curious but he hisses at me! and two birds. Wow do they make funny noises. Stairs are a breeze and I am quite polite and haven't removed any goodies from the counters or trash. Bedtime was neat. My babysitter took me in her bedroom and had me sleep on a bed on the floor. I got up once in the night to go out but was fine after that.
Ok so I'll keep my public posted on the person who was interested. I hope that will be my forever home!
